Description

SHP Mission Seed House Project aids and inspires Transitional Age Youth in the Los Angeles area who are experiencing unhousedness by providing a success-driven live/work space, access to education, and individualized mentorship. Creating welcome home items for our youth on the first day of the youth moves in to our homes. The goal is to create a warm and loving welcome, these kits will need to express that.

What's Needed To Complete

The age range for our youth is 18-26 years old, and currently, we are serving males only. With this in mind please makes make sure items meet the needs of the age and gender. It is always helpful to create an inspiring and encouraging note along with the kit. Listed below are some items you can add to your kit. shampoo soap or body wash tooth brushtoothpasteste deodorant socks underwearr wear journals inspiring books other thoughtful items

This impacts the youth incredibly! Warm welcomes to a new home is something most of our youth don't experience. These Welcome Home Kits set the stage for their journey to growth. You are making an impact not only for the now but for their future. Many of our youth come to our homes with nothing but a backpack. Providing everyday items are essential for our youth.
