Description
Assist with packing groceries for our Kids NOW Program. Project WeHOPE is the sponsor of a Kid's NOW Food Program, which stands for Nutrition on Weekends, providing weekly fresh food for 100-120 families that are in need within the community. The program is in partnership with the Second Harvest Food Bank, who provide the food, and it occurs every Thursday at the Saint Samuel Church of God in Christ in East Palo Alto.
What's Needed To Complete
A positive attitude and willingness to help!
Whose Help Is Required
Mom, dad or other grown-up if under age 14.
Special Requirements
Youth under the age of 14 years need to volunteer with parent(s) or other adult. You must fill out a waiver prior to volunteering on-site.
How It Makes A Difference
Your work will support the Kids NOW Food Program, providing weekly fresh food for over 100 families that are in need within the community.
