Description
Have fun crafting these blankets for pets from lower-SES families. Together, we can ensure that all families can experience the love of a furry friend!
What's Needed To Complete
Scissors A measuring tape or ruler 2 pieces of equal sized fleece fabric. We recommend 46 x 46 in (contrasting colors or prints are great here!)
Special Requirements
Depending on your age adult may need to help when using scissors.
How It Makes A Difference
Supplies are crucial when caring for your pet but some families cannot afford them. Help these families and their pets by providing them with a comfortable warm blanket!

Instructions
1. Lay the two fleece blankets on a flat surface, one top of the other. Ensure they are lined up. Make sure you have the side you wish to be visible facing outwards. 2. Cut 5 inch squares from each of the 4 corners 3. Cut fringe on all four sides of the blanket. Ensure you are cutting both pieces of fabric at once. Cut from the edge of the blanket inwards 5 inch long and about the width of your thumb. These should be in line with the squares you cut out previously. 4. Tied together each strip of fringe with the strip below it to secure the two pieces of fabric together, and continue all the way around the blanket. 5. You are done, make as many as you like with your family and friends and deliver the finished product to your local shelter or send them to us at Karma Rescue. .
