How It Makes A Difference
People are hungry in our community. Even if employed, people earning minimum wage cannot afford both rent and food. People who are unhoused need healthy, nonperishable foods that do not require refrigeration or cooking for safe consumption. The number of residence seeking food assistance has grown substantially. Volunteers can educate others about the need for healthy, nonperishable foods and then collect and donate these items to Hope's Corner which will allow us to feed more people in need and ensure our residence do not go hungry.
