The Gentle Barn is a last resort farm animal rescue teaching people kindness and compassion to animals, each other and our planet.

We specifically rescue animals from severe abuse and neglect situations who have no other option. We give them a forever home, heal their bodies and hearts, and they in turn help us work with children who are at risk, from the inner city, and/or those in special needs situations.
