MedShare works with hospitals, distributors and manufacturers to collect and redistribute surplus, high quality medical products to qualified healthcare facilities in medically underserved communities around the world. We also provide supplies to medical missions and safety net clinics in both the U.S. and abroad
Each year, millions of people in economically developing countries and in our own communities go without proper medical care due to a lack of medical resources. In the developing world, over 10 million children under the age of five die from inadequate medical care every year. At the same time, hospitals in the United States generate over two million tons of medical waste each year. Much of that waste is unused, unexpired medical supplies and equipment. MedShare is dedicated to improving healthcare and the environment through the collection and redistribution of these surplus medical supplies and equipment to those most in need, in our local community and in economically developing countries. Our deliveries of vital medical supplies and equipment have decreased our nation’s carbon footprint and brought health, healing and the promise of better lives to over 100 countries and countless patients.
