The Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired, a division of MAB Community Services, is committed to supporting individuals living with vision loss. We teach strategies for doing all the activities you may have previously relied on vision to accomplish.
There are 38 million Americans age 40 and older who are blind, have visual impairments, or have an age-related eye disease. Whether you’re starting to lose your eyesight or have been blind for a long time, the staff and volunteers at the Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (MABVI) can help. We’ll work with you to make your home safer and easier to navigate. Our staff are experts at teaching adaptive skills that will add a greater sense of control to your daily activities. If you’re looking to improve your experiences in reading, cooking, social networking, shopping, and many other parts of your life, our caring team approach can offer support and will help you come up with answers.
