Description
We need your help to craft thousands of handmade knit and crochet winter garments. If you know how to knit or crochet or know someone who can teach you, all you have to do is craft whatever kind of garment you would like! Some examples of things we usually get are: scarves, beanies, socks, gloves, mittens, fingerless gloves, ear warmers, and sweaters.
What's Needed To Complete
Keep in mind that we only accept handmade and unworn winter garments for distribution. If you need help picking a pattern, visit our website for some free patterns!

How It Makes A Difference
This activity is the main program at Knit the Rainbow. We use the donated garments to provide essential warmth to houseless and at-risk LGBTQ+ youth around the country.
Instructions
Craft as many garments as you'd like. Optional: Take pictures of your crafts and post to social, tagging us.
