Yameeliz brings a wealth of experience in spearheading impactful initiatives within nonprofit organizations. With a career dedicated to developing comprehensive communication strategies, cultivating lasting partnerships, and implementing data-driven solutions, Yameeliz has consistently championed causes she deeply believes in. From directing community engagement projects that resulted in significant increases in participation to managing youth-focused programs that fostered meaningful connections with nonprofit organizations across the nation, her commitment to making a difference is evident.
With a background rooted in the education system, Yameeliz has provided professional development and resources to advance marginalized youth and communities' health, safety, and well-being. Passionate about community organizing and youth development, she sees Create the Change as a powerful opportunity to connect youth, families, communities, and organizations with the services and resources they need to thrive. Yameeliz firmly believes in nurturing the next generation of empathy-driven, civic-minded leaders.
Yameeliz holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with a concentration in Inequality and Social Justice from the University of South Florida, as well as a Master’s Degree in Public Interest Communication and a Graduate Certificate in Audience Analytics from the University of Florida.
