Tamara has over 23 years experience in both nonprofit and corporate environments working directly with senior leaders on innovation, change management, and strategic planning actively responsible for building and leading teams through complex, organization-wide projects. She has spent most of the past 14 years in the workforce development field including nearly ten years as a senior leader at Year Up as well as served as the Chief of Staff for Genesys Works and other nonprofits. At Per Scholas, Tamara is responsible for leading large scale innovation and change initiatives as well as our long term evaluation and outcomes work. She also works in partnership with the CEO to lead the National Board of Directors and the National Leadership Team in our strategic pathway forward.
Prior to Year Up, she built collaborative client relationships in account management and business development roles in for-profit organizations. She earned a BBA from The University of Texas in San Antonio with a concentration in Finance and her MBA from Boston University with a concentration on Strategy and Analysis. Tamara currently lives outside of Boston with her three children, husband, and dog.
