About
Doc Wayne is a Boston-based nonprofit that seeks to fuse sport and therapy to heal and strengthen youth. We know that many kids love sports and believe sports are a powerful tool to help kids enjoy, and more successfully participate in, mental health treatment.
When trauma befalls children, the impacts can be lifelong and devastating. Yet despite experiencing adult-sized issues, children need youth-appropriate, child-relevant interventions. In only ten years, Doc Wayne has proven it can make a real difference in the hearts, minds, and lives of children and families in need. With a dedicated staff of expert clinicians and compassionate coaches, Doc Wayne's impact is significant. Through its sports based programs, kids learn to have fun and build confidence.
